We just heard today that Dale and Marilyn Howard of Iowa Falls, Iowa have committed to a $5 million gift to the University of Iowa Foundation to support the athletic program at the University.

Most of the gift will go toward planned upgrades to the Carver-Hawkeye Arena.  The remainder will support projects for the University of Iowa Hawkeye Football program.
